My Girls Will Take Care of Me
Caroline and I are 18 months apart, we’ve always been inseparable. She’s my best friend.
When our Mom was first diagnosed, I remember hearing her often sharing with others… “I know my girls will take care of me.” That’s just what we’re doing! She’s the greatest woman I’ll ever know and although very difficult at times, caring for her is a gift.
My sister and I have and continue to lean on each other as we navigate this progressive disease. We’re constantly learning, coping, and doing the best we can to care for our mom and ensure she always feels love and security.
